Yes, any custom design project will include a design fee. This covers the time and expertise involved in creating your unique concept.

Q: How is the design fee calculated?

Design fees vary depending on the complexity of the project, the number of revisions required, and the time involved. We'll provide you with a personalized quote based on your specific design needs.

Q: Is the design fee separate from the production cost?

Yes, the design fee covers the creation of the design itself and is separate from the cost of producing the final product.

Q: When is the design fee charged?

Typically, a portion or the full design fee is due upfront to begin the design process. We'll outline the payment schedule in your custom quote.

Q: Can the design fee be waived if I place a large order?

Our design fees are separate to ensure fair compensation for the creative work involved. However, we're happy to discuss overall project pricing for larger orders.

Q: What do I receive for the design fee?

You'll receive the agreed-upon custom design concepts and typically the final design files (SVG, DXF, PNG) suitable for production. These files will allow you to take your design to print shops that specialize in POD, embroidery, and more.

Q: What if I want revisions to the initial design concepts?

Our initial design fee typically includes a set number of revisions. Any additional revisions beyond that may incur an extra charge, which we'll discuss with you beforehand.

Q: What information should I include when requesting a custom order or design?

The more details you can provide, the better! This includes things like your design ideas, desired size, colors, materials, any text or images, quantity needed, overall style or theme, and budget. If you need your custom by a specific date, please let us know. We may have additional questions for you as we go over the details of your project.

Q: What is the turnaround time for custom orders?

Patience is a virtue, but we know you’re eager to see your creation!  We’ll keep you updated every step of the way, so you’re never left in the dark! Turnaround times can vary depending on the complexity of the design and our current order volume. We'll give you an estimated timeframe once we understand the specifics of your request. If you need your order by a specific date, make sure to let us know. Please be aware that quoted turnaround times commence only upon receipt of the deposit for the work.

Q: How much do custom orders cost?

The cost of a custom order is determined by several factors, including the design complexity, materials used, and the time involved. We'll provide you with a personalized quote once we've talked to you further and have the details of your project.

Q: Do you require a deposit for custom orders? 

Yes, a deposit of the quoted cost of the project is required to begin work on your custom order. Note, due to the nature of custom orders, this deposit is non-refundable once work has begun. 

Q: Can I see a proof before my custom order is finalized?

If we are able we will provide you with a digital proof for your approval before we start production. There are some customs that we are not able to provide digital proofs for such as large furniture builds. We'll let you know if a proof will be available during the consultation process.

Q: Can I return or exchange a custom orders?

Hold on tight! Custom items are non-returnable and non-refundable. Once you’ve made your mark, it’s yours to cherish. However, if there’s an issue with your order, reach out to us immediately, and we’ll make it right! We'll work closely with you throughout the design process to ensure you're happy with the final result. 

Q: What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?

Don’t let a hiccup derail your adventure! Inspect your order upon arrival. If something’s amiss, contact us right away. We’ll evaluate the situation and ensure you’re back on track with your perfect piece!
